Why MBA?
I strongly feel MBA is for dynamic leaders of coming future, its not for every one, you need to have confidence to handle the situation, give seminars, presentation and pep talks to boost about what you are representing. Can you do this in real time and compete with super talented people?
I recently met a guy who had 7 years work exp in IT industry, from his profile i could see zillion of awards received by him + Gmat score of 710, we both were in for MBA interview, when he came out of interview, i saw his shoulders shrugged of a defeat, with sweat on his forehead, making me think,oh he is so rejected. So i asked him what happened? he told me his application has been accepted.I congratulated him and started to wonder, how an MBA can help a person like him with zero confidence,no way in the world can he do magic on the stage. If you are a good developer, tester, project leader , A technical person, etc etc look forward to progress in same field, don't try to hurdle in to other lanes, where you are nothing but a fresher.

The next big question is which B-School?
AMBA(http://accreditation.mbaworld.com/content/accreditedlist/index.php)
EQUIS(http://www.efmd.org/index.php/component/efmd/?cmsid=040929sqku)
AACSAB(http://www.aacsb.edu/General/InstLists.asp?lid=3),
These are top MBA accreditation.Triple accreditation can be used by as an alternative, and more reliable, method for reviewing the quality of Business School. So if your are looking for a school, check from the link above if the school you are applying for has the following accreditation.Be careful few schools are only just the member of these organization and there program is not accredited by them, they use the same for publicity stunt. The links above mentioned shows which are the school's whose program has been accredited.
If you have less work experience, your grades are low and you don't have much managerial work experience and you are looking for top business schools, make sure you take good GMAT score, A strong statement of purpose, letter of recommendation and CV .Always try to negotiate with your interviewer to wave off IELTS /TOEFL by speaking good clear english and showing good english grades which you may have got in your high school/intermediate/mentioning english as your first language in your graduation studies.
Least but the last, all of us would like to review the ranking too, There are so many rankings given by zillion's of new paper world wide, the link below mentions all the rankings
