All of us suffer from the whispering of Shaitan in our
Salah. We are so much used to it that we
almost give up for the solution. To avoid whispering of Shaitan, we have to first close all
the doors and windows of the brain for Shaitan to enter.
Our brain can work on at least 5 things at a time. For example, while you drive, you:
1. Control the
steering;
2. Press/release
the brakes
3. Talk to your
friend;
4. Watch the road;
5. Change the
lanes/take turns;
6. Avoid
pedestrians and other traffic
And so on.
If you just recite the Arabic Surahs/Azakr in Salah, then
you are using just one channel of the brain.
You might have heard the saying: Empty man’s brain is devil’s
workshop. I would say: Empty brain’s
channel is devil’s workshop!
Once you leave 4 channels open for the Shaitan, do you
think, he will let you perform your Salah properly! Nope!
He will do everything to destroy your salah. He will remind you of numerous things in your
Salah. At the least disturbance (some
one coughing, a car speeding, ..) he will smoothly take you out of the Salah!
So, what is the solution?
You HAVE TO FILL all those channels.
How?
1. Recite the Qur’an/Azkar
2. Understand what you recite
3. Imagine what you recite
4. Feel what you recite
5. Interact with what you recite
If you don’t do that, then don’t complain about Shaitan’s
whispering.
